I see it is loading 1.4.8, is this going to be the version that is used. I thought it was going to be pre 1.4. Can this be cleared up?

So it is downloading as 1.4.8 but will actually be equivalent to 1.4. Is that how it is?

As far as I understand the game uses latest client (1.4.8) but the devs will implement various changes, rollbacks and upgrades. The game version client will probably stay the same (1.4.8) but game mechanics will change, as you can already read on the forum (for example RR 80 is max, some items go away etc).
