Bugs being marked as "fixed" on the tracker...

Postby Sami » 19 December 2013, 23:27

Just a quick question: a lot of bugs are now showing up with green "fixed" lights next to them. Is this to indicate they are fixed on the live server or on a dev build? Because a lot (I haven't tested them all) aren't fixed on Sigmar. I've been offline for a few hours so I don't know if I missed a reboot or if the fixes haven't been applied yet.

I'm not harassing you to get the fixes on to Sigmar - I just want to know if I should be testing the "fixed" ones yet :)

I'm pretty sure there will be an announcement once the first wave of bugfixes is live, and as I read it will probably happen quite soon.

I was told there was a server reboot about 20m ago with updates hence why I asked, as believe me that stuff isn't fixed :)

All bug marked " Fixed" are all bug already add on BUGTRACKER we dont need 2 or 4 similar bug reported .

maybe you should have a status for double? Or just join those together, so you have all the info but only one ticket?

maybe players should check other posts to see if its really new bug or if it was mentioned 14 times already.

also some kind of "Abilities do not work, so do not post it" (or something similar that is currently mentioned the most times) on top of bug tracker window might help to keep it more easier to check

edit: when my friend was making wow private server there was also option to add comments for new bug reports. that way community were able to provide feedback - something like its not bug, it was already posted, it works for me so its not bug etc. etc. though on the other hand it might just make it more chaotic

My suggestion, will it possible can make a link or shortcut on launcher, to show up all the servers status(if we have more :D ), population status(future? ;) ), and bugtracker. Pay attention all players while they playing to report any bugs pop-up.

Cheers!

Although these idea are great, look how many people posted about the abilites not working on the forum. LOL! No matter what you do, you're going to have a bunch of people reporting the same issue because they don't look for the information 1st or are not looking in the right spot, etc. I'm not saying they shouldn't maybe adjust the bug tracker a bit, but give them time to work on the bigger issues at hand 1st (like not using abilites or training or rvr bug to name a few) before worrying about something we can honestly live with right now. :)
